Beyond coaching, I am happily married and a fortunate mother of two amazing teenage sons. We are a close-knit and active family, experiencing the same joys and challenges as anyone else. It was these valuable life lessons that inspired me to become a Health and Wellness Coach. With a Master of Arts in Health and Wellness Coaching from Maryland University of Integrative Health, I bring a wealth of knowledge to support your journey.

My  Wellness essentials

I begin each day with an inspiring guided meditation, and of course coffee. I cherish this daily moment to get centered, focused and present with myself.

In order to support my personal desire to flourish, I find the simplest pleasure in making sun tea. I love witnessing the warmth the sun has on water as the tea leaves steep. This is one of my afternoon energy pick ups with fresh mint from my deck garden.

Mountain biking is my foundation for connection and so vital for me. The outdoors give me a grounding calmness to help navigate life's daily fluid moments. For over 20 years, I have relied on my body and mountain bike connection to clear my head of tensions, discover boundaries and new perspectives as I ride, and solely focus on the next 30 feet in front of my knobby, flowing tires. It is pure bliss for me. My sons will suggest I ride when they see I require clarity and alone time. I love that!

Deep Creek Lake in western Maryland is one of my happiest places. The cool summer evenings sleeping with the windows open, wake surfing on late afternoons and snowboarding in the winter support my outdoor desires. Pinch me!

As my body ages, my love for Crossfit and the gym community is simply transitioning into lifetime fitness. I read that a good barbell work out clears 80% of stress from your body. I love those moments of pure clarity and simply engaging my body in flow.

I cherish time in the beautiful Patapsco Valley State Park on my mountain bike, hiking or a cool water soak. Whether I am enjoying solitude or a throw down session with my husband or close friends, time in the woods brings me complete balance. We have discovered a quiet swimming hole in Patapsco Valley State Park with cool water and tiny nipping fish. My body craves the rejuvenating and cool soaks. This is the perfect recovery time in my week.
